I have been away from this blog for quite some time now. Perhaps it’s because I was lurking around some other blog hosting site I found. Which got me to thinking why I’m creating another blog when no one really reads my blog anyway. It also got me to thinking (for the n^th time) why I am blogging in the first place. Unlike before I said I blog because everyone else is doing it, now I may have formulated reasons of my own.

Perhaps the primary reason would be because I like to read. And since I like to read, I get inspired to write. Although I am not a writer nor do I have dreams of grandeur of becoming one, blogging has given me access to exercise and practice writing. It’s also a way to release stress accumulated from work. The problem is I don’t always have anything to write about so I end up posting something nobody would ever give a shit about.

Another reason I like to maintain this particular blog is because I get to learn so many things with regard to HTML and CSS. I have always been fascinated by web design so this is my futile attempt to practice through editting the HTML and CSS files of this blog. I once had ambitions of becoming a designer (graphics) but since I lack creativity and is almost always lazy, tweaking the template of this blog has somehow given me shallow satisfaction and pride.

That’s about it for now. I can’t think of anything else reasonable to write as to why I like to blog.

This is just a test. Ignore it if you will. I am just testing Excerpt in the wordpress editor.

Update: Which, I might add, is a useless piece of shit. The link http://wordpress.org/docs/reference/post/#excerpt does not exist.  So if anybody knows what the fuck this is for, kindly enlighten me. Thanks.
