Minimalistic

2006.04.01

I came up with this (current) template a few days ago because I was really bored at home. I call it minimalistic. As opposed to the traditional header - content - sidebar - footer formula of blog templates, I have opted to remove the sidebar and put them on separate pages. With this (current) template, I can get the reader to focus on my posts (or i am hoping it would).

This design would not have materialized had I not stumbled over these pages: Schinckel’s tutorial on how to put archives, categories, links and etcetera on their own pages and Spiffy Corners for the spiffy curved corner effects.

That’s about it. Till later.

Update: 04.01.2006 - 14:47

I failed to mention that the tips and tricks in Schinckel’s tutorials will most likely only work for blogs hosted in Blogsome.
