2006.07.10I’m so tired but I can’t sleep
Standin’ on the edge of something much too deep
It’s funny how we feel so much but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside, but we can’t be heard
I was sent a song lyric earlier today and the above quoted stanza struck me. And guess what song this is? Clue: It’s something I don’t usually listen to but I admit that I like the artist. She has two other songs I like. Take note, it’s a she who sang this.
The words just ring with such familiarity and it exactly describes the current predicament I’m in right now.
Yeah, whatever.

My profuse apologies. I forgot to put a title last night.

Err, who was the singer?

snglguy: Her initials are S.M. and she sings pretty well. She uses a piano to play her tunes.

Oh, Sarah. :) That sad, lonely voice… “When she loved me…” Waaaaaahhh… :’(

shane: I’ve been a little busy with extra-curricular activities lately that I haven’t had much time to sit down and think about what to write.
carlmans: Yup, she plays all those melancholy tunes that you think someone close to her died everyday. She’s a great song writer, I think but I only like three of her songs for the moment.

Sarah’s a great artist! Two tracks of hers that I particularly love are Angel and I Love You. :)

kat: Yeah, I admit that she can write really great lyrics and create the appropriate melodies for them.
ice: Sorry about your dad passing away. Well, the quoted text in my blog entry is from the same song you mentioned.
