Something new
2006.08.05
In case y’all are wondering what that foreign-looking image above is, it’s my first name written in Katakana — one form of Japanese writing. Of course, I jazzed it up a bit with GIMP. Anyway, I’m actually teaching my brain some new tricks. Because as of last week, I have started learning the Japanese language. You might ask, “Why go through the trouble of learning such a complicated language?” One reason — Animé!
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hajimemashite. Watashi wa Erikku desu. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

You’re learning Japanese language? Galing! I wanted to learn that language din kaya lang feeling ko I don’t have patience to learn. hehe! Good for you. :D
After you learn the language, maybe you can learn calligraphy. :D

gbert: Ahh, Japanese food! Now that’s something else! Thanks for dropping by.

shane: Too bad. I find Nihongo really interesting since I have watched a lot of anime. But it would be too lame to learn a language because of just that right? See, told you I was weird.
